I was born and raised in Lewiston, New York. My father was an attorney and my mother is a physician. After graduating from Niagara Catholic High School, where I was on the football team, I attended Rochester Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors. I went on to attend law school at The State University of New York at Buffalo.
After graduation from law school, I began my law practice with the small firm of Steiner & Blotnik. During my twelve years there, I handled a variety of different cases including personal injury, criminal defense, matrimonial and family law, real estate, bankruptcy, workers’ compensation and social security disability law. I litigated and tried cases in all of New York’s trial courts, including personal injury cases such as motor vehicle accidents, labor law and construction injuries, contract disputes, premises injury, and all aspects of matrimonial cases, including maintenance, equitable distribution of property, child custody and child support. I also maintained an extensive criminal defense practice, representing clients in both state and federal court accused of crimes from “A” felonies to misdemeanors and I tried a wide range of criminal cases to verdict in matters such as armed robbery, burglary and assault. I also represented clients in Family Court on matters such as paternity, child support, neglect and juvenile delinquency.
In 2003, I joined Dolce Panepinto in order to concentrate my trial practice. I handle a variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, construction injuries, premises injuries, products liability, collection matters and medical malpractice claims. In my nearly twenty years of practice, I have gained a broad based knowledge of many different aspects of the law which allows me to provide counsel on a variety issues that may face a client.
