Dolce Panepinto’s Workers’ Comp Department Supports Triangle Shirt-Waist Fire Memorial
In January, Dolce Panepinto’s workers’ compensation attorneys, Holly Mannillo and Colleen Malchow, attended the twentieth annual Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire Memorial (TSFFM) Award Reception and Scholarship Fundraiser. The event, held to honor workplace safety efforts and raise funds for scholarships for the children of workers who have died or been permanently disabled due to workplace accidents or illnesses, brought together industry leaders and advocates for a cause that remains critical to this day.
Holly Mannillo, a dedicated workers’ compensation attorney and co-chair of the Workers’ Compensation Alliance (WCA), had the distinct honor of presenting a special recognition to Assembly Member Harry Bronson. A longtime advocate for workers’ rights, Bronson has served as a member of the New York State Assembly for over two decades and currently chairs the Assembly Labor Committee. His unwavering support for legislation benefiting injured workers has been instrumental in advancing the rights of those affected by workplace injuries.
Bronson has worked with the WCA to support legislation aimed at improving the workers’ compensation system. His efforts, combined with the WCA, continue to have a lasting impact on the lives of injured workers, helping to ensure they receive the necessary care and compensation to recover from workplace injuries.
Holly Mannillo, a passionate advocate for injured workers, has worked tirelessly to amend compensation laws that benefit injured workers. As co-chair of the WCA, she is deeply committed to changing the compensation system to better protect those who are injured on the job.
Both Mannillo and Malchow have presented to the NYS Injured Workers’ Bar, educating legal professionals on court decisions that benefit injured workers. Their sessions have played a key role in educating attorneys on rulings that have the potential to improve the outcomes of workers’ compensation claims\
